Setting Background Colors and Images to be printed
This is a simple procedure in Internet Explorer
This setting is to print background colors and background images and is not normally needed. When cancelled, this will not stop your printer printing the normal foreground images.
- Go into your Control Panel by clicking Start then selecting Control Panel from the menu.
- Depending on your version, the easiest is to switch to Switch to Classic View.
- Click on Internet Properties then Advanced.
- You should now see something like the image below.
- Scroll down to where Printing is, then tick the Print background colors and images box.
- Close all the boxes by clicking OK each time.
You don't need to reboot your computer for the settings to take effect, and you can do this while you're surfing.
Note: When you've finished printing, don't forget to go back into Internet Properties and cancel the setting, or the next time you print a webpage out, you'll waste a lot of printer ink
