100g (4 oz) Margarine
100g (4 oz) Sugar
50g (2 oz) Porridge Oats
50g (2 oz) Self Raising Flour
75g (3 oz) Crushed Cornflakes
15ml (1 tablespoon) Golden Syrup

(1) Melt the margarine and syrup gently in a pan.

(2) Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl.

(3) Add the margarine and syrup, mixing well.

(4) Spread evenly in a greased swiss-roll tin and press down firmly.

(5) Bake in the oven for about 20 mins at 190°C, 375°F or Gas Mark 5.

(6) Cut into fingers while still warm.
