Sandra's Kitchen - Quick & Easy Recipes

Sandra's Recipes Welcome to my little spot on my husband's website. Here are some of the recipes I've collected over the years. Some have been passed down to me from my mother. Others have either been sent in or given to me by friends and neighbours. I am not a trained chef as cookery is just my hobby that I very much enjoy.
If you're passionate about cooking and would like to share your creation, please send in your recipe using the Contact Editor link at the bottom of this page. All credit will be given to you, so don't forget to include any details you want to say about yourself. Thanks to all of you who have said nice things about these recipes, Sandra.

Let's Get Back To Basics

Fairy Cakes by Emma and Karl Fairy Cakes baked by my grandchildren. My mother baked every Sunday. Myself and my three sisters all helped. We loved every minute. We would put our own little mark on whatever we had made, so we all knew who had made what. Then Mum would put them in the oven. We were amazed to watch them grow, and you can't beat the smell of home baked cakes. Afterwards, we all helped clean the kitchen ready for tea. The best thing was seeing what you made and everyone enjoying it. All they need to start is an apron, mixing bowl and wooden spoon, oven tray, a bun or tart tin and that's it. Do stress the importance of clean hands at all times!
