Submarine damage during exercises

Submarine photo sent in by © William Marsh.
A badly damaged submarine, having been rammed by an unknown warship during exercises.

Update: The name of the Turkish submarine was the GUR rammed by HMS Rothesay type 12 frigate on the 21st March 1962. The GUR was discovered in British waters and failed to identity herself during the cold war. It was passed off as an exercise, a commonly used excuse to appease the public of what had occurred.
