Drive-thru Cash Point Instructions

To enable our customers to make full use of these new facilities, we have conducted intensive behavioural studies to come up with appropriate procedures for their use.

PROCEDURE FOR MALE CUSTOMERS (5 point check)

1. Drive up to cash machine and wind down window.
2. Insert card and enter PIN.
3. Enter amount of cash required and withdraw.
4. Retrieve card, cash and receipt.
5. Wind up window and drive off.

PROCEDURE FOR FEMALE CUSTOMERS (20 point check)

1. Drive up to cash machine.
2. Reverse back the required amount to align car window with cash machine.
3. Wind down the window.
4. Open handbag and remove all contents to locate card.
5. Open car door to allow easier access to cash machine due to its excessive distance from the car.
6. Insert card.
7. After 'Invalid Card' is displayed, remove Marks & Spencer Charge Card.
8. Insert correct card.
9. Open handbag again to find diary with PIN written on back page.
10. Enter PIN number and amount of cash required.
11. Check makeup in rear view mirror.
12. Retrieve cash and receipt.
13. Empty handbag again to locate purse and place cash inside.
14. Place receipt in back of chequebook.
15. Re-check makeup.
16. Drive forward 2 metres.
17. Reverse back to cash machine.
18. Retrieve card.
19. Wind up window and drive off.
20. After approximately 2 to 3 miles, release your handbrake.
