Villiers Street Tech GCE class of 1955 - 1956.

I attended Villiers Street Tech from September 1952 until July 1956.
This photograph shows the entire 1955 -1956 GCE class at Villiers Street Technical School.
1955 to 1956 was the first year that some pupils were chosen to stay on for an extra year to take General Certificate of Education examinations. In order to get up to speed for the GCE exams, Mr Rimmington, the chemistry teacher took us for extra lessons each Monday evening from 4pm to 5pm. We used to call it the night shift.
